Event 20 : Himalayan Trek to Sandakphu(3636m) Oct 20-28, 2018

Sandakphu throws open an incredible panorama of world’s highest snowline, swerving from the snow ensconced peaks of Nepal to Bhutan and farther east to Tibet. The trek route zigzags along the Singalila Ridge and moves this side and that of the Indo-Nepal border, switch backing and switch-bordering towards an enchanting visually charged summit that makes it all worth it. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. (ref TTH)
Sandakphu or Sandakfu (3636 m; 11,941ft) is the highest peak in the state of West Bengal situated at the edge of the Singalila National Park in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border, and is the highest point of the Singalila Ridge.

Event 19 : Trip to Araku valley & Trek to Arma Konda (Highest point in AP State) Sep 28-Oct 02, 2018

Araku Valley is a hill station and valley region in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It's surrounded by the thick forests of the Eastern Ghats mountain range. The Tribal Museum is dedicated to the area's numerous indigenous tribes, known for their traditional Dhimsa dance, and showcases traditional handicrafts. A miniature train runs through Padmapuram Gardens, with its sculptures and tree-top huts.

Arama Konda or Jindhagada, is a mountain peak in the northern part of the Eastern Ghats and located in Godavari river basin. It is located in the Madugula Konda sub range north of Paderu village in Andhra Pradesh. At 1680 m Arama Konda is the highest mountain peak in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Coffee museum
is manned by a staff of educated tribal folk who are also coffee growers themselves. It offers educational entertainment in the form of the dioramas detailing the history of coffee and a Dhimsa Dance at six in the evening, every day. Marketing an impressive 60 varieties of coffee, including select coffees like Luwak coffee, bird parchment and monkey parchment, the café also sells 600 varieties of coffee-chocolates.

Event 18 : Trek to Kalsubai (Highest point in Maharashtra) Sep 22, 2018

Kalsubai, according to local legend, was the name of a tormented daughter-in-law who ran away to the top of a hill to escape harassment from her in-laws. She is believed to have disappeared here and the locals built a temple in her memory on the peak’s summit. The hill is named Kalsubai after her.
Kalsubai, though a highest peak, from trekking point of view is comparatively easy. The peak has a temple which many pilgrims aim at visiting. Hence, for such pilgrim trekkers, government and local villagers have made the route easy and safe by putting ladders and staircase wherever necessary. So reaching to the top is just a test of your stamina.

Event 17 : Andharban Trail Trek Sep 08, 2018 Batch 2

Andharban Trek is known for its cross country nature. The sun rays cannot reach the ground even during the daytime hence the name Andharban (Dark Dense Jungle). This is one of the most scenic trek routes around Pune which should be experienced at least once! This is an old trade route that connects Sahyadri western ghat village to Konkan region. Since this is an all descend trek with gradual gradient, you will enjoy lots of waterfalls enroute. During the trek, we will cross 2 to 3 small water streams which lead our way through the dense forest.

Bhorgiri village is a very small village. There are hills on the three side of the village. And one of the hills has Bhorgiri fort and caves. Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar trek route is through dense jungle and provides many opportunities for nature lovers and particularly Photographers!!! One can see the state animal of Maharashtra the Giant Squirrel, in local language known as “Shekru.” In Monsoon Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar trek is the perfect trek for Beginners, Nature Lovers, and Photographers. It’s a plain Jungle walk of around 3 Hours which ends at “Gupta Bhimashankar”. One has to pass the Streams & waterfall to reach the Bhimashankar Temple.

Event 14: Trek to Rohida Fort (Vichitragad) Jun 23, 2018

Rohida also called as Vichitragad, it is one of the best fort in the Bhor region.This fort was built during Yadava period Rohida was among the 23 forts Shivaji handed over to Mughals ( to Aurangzeb Alamgir) during the Treaty of Purandar (1665). On 24 June 1670 this fort was again captured by Shivaji Maharaj. This fort was under the control of Pantsachiv of Bhor State, till the Indian independence.

Event 12 : K2S Trail May 25, 2018

Katraj to Sinhgad Night Trek commonly referred as K2S is a popular night trek for regular trekkers. The route starts from old katraj tunnel top, travels through series of mountains and hills (>13) and covers approx. 15 Km. Trek ends at T point where tar road heading to Sinhgad from donje and khed shivapur meets. Some trekkers walk more 3 Km to Sinhgad top and some heads to donje village. It definitely tests your stamina but offers awesome views.

Event 11 : Rajgad-Torna Trail Apr 13-14, 2018

Rajgad and Torna, both prominent forts of Swarajya, are connected by a 9 km long ridge. The aim is to reach to the top of Rajgad from gunjavane village and then trek to torna top and descend from there to velhe village in one go.

Sandhan valley is a water carvedvalley around 200 feet deep. Sandhan is located near the region of Bhandardara close to Samrad village. Both Samrad and Sandhan are surrounded by the Alang, Madan and Kulang mountains. This place also has Ratangad, Ajoba and Kalsubai (the highest peak in peak in Maharashtra spanning 5400 feet).

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is the pristine and unique eco-system situated in the Chandrapur district of the Maharashtra State of India. The Reserve contains some of the best of forest tracks and is endowed with rich biodiversity. It is famous for its natural heritage and the name Tadoba is derived from the tribal god named Taru which is worshiped by the tribal and Andhari comes from the Andhari river which flows through the park. The core area of the Reserve is 625 sq.km. This includes Tadoba National Park, created in 1955 with an area of 116.55 sq. km. and Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary created in 1986 with an area of 508.85 sq. km. The core zone ofTadoba has 6 gates and buffer zone has 6 gates. Both core and buffer forest areas are extremely rich in flora and fauna and shelters a huge population of majestic Tigers.

Vasota Fort (also called Nandugad) is located in Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Vasota fort is attributed to the Kolhapur Shilahara Raja  Nandgopal (1178–1193) of Panhala. Shivaji Maharaj named the fort "Vyaghragad" (Vyaghra – means tiger), owing to its difficult natural defense.

Event 06 : Hemalkasa and Tadoba(Moharli) Jungle Safari Dec 09-11, 2017

The Lok Biradari Prakalp (LBP) was started on 23rd December 1973 by Baba Amte for the integrated development of the primitive tribe 'Madia-Gonds' in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra.
The 'Madia-Gond' tribe lives in remote parts of the district, deep in the forests. Apart from the dangers of living in the wild, where animal attacks are very common, malaria and cholera epidemics were also a frequent occurrence. The Madia-Gonds did not have access to basic healthcare facilities which made the situation even worse.

Event 03 : Vairatgad Trek Sep 24, 2017

The fort Vairatgad is situated in the province of Wai, and 8 km away from Wai. King Bhoj of the Shilahar dynasty built Vairatgad in the 11th century. During Shivaji's period the fort was used only as a military station. Shivaji Maharaj conquered the Wai region and included Vairatgad and Pandavgad in his kingdom. The British captured it in 1818.

Event 01 : Tikona Trek July 22, 2017

Tikona (Marathi: तिकोना) also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in Maval in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 60 km from Pune. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft. high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangular".
